History of the Practice
The practice was started in 2013 in Mondeor, Johannesburg. Nisha Vythilingam Occupational Therapist, primarily saw children with developmental delays, autism, specific learning difficulties, ADHD and other behavioural disorders. The practice was also extended to doing home visits for terminally ill clients as well as clients needing assistance to reintegrate back into their home and community after receiving inpatient rehabilitation.
The practice was then closed from January 2016 to August 2019 due to Nisha relocating to the Eastern Cape. When relocating back to Johannesburg, she re-opened the practice in Bedfordveiw.
During the Covid-19 pandemic she progressed to doing sessions online and developing her skills to drive her passion towards creating more support and skill building groups for parents and teachers.
In January 2022 Nisha took on a post Public LSEN High School. The practice was subsequently closed at the end of 2023, whilst Nisha started to re-establish the OT department at the school.
